Sore throat feeling tired?

I have had a sore throat for several months.

I took penicilin a whilse back when one of my tonsils had a white blob on it.

The throat looks more dark red. I feel tired and neck pain radiates down to shoulder.

I saw a gp and he said blood test looks ok. Saw a ears eyes throat speacialist and he says it will take time to go away. Sometimes I get so phychologically affected that get stressed.

Not sure if there are any other consultants around i can see...

Also my chest feels tight

I think that your meds were not given long enough or where not the right kind for your infection you are getting really sick and need to go get a 2nd opinion. Or go back to this Doc at tell him or her your still having symptoms. Also remind Doc that you have taken all penicillin and you are still sick. You dont want this infection to spread. Good Luck
