The first question is, are you "saved", as stated in the Bible. Have you repented of your sins? Have you asked the one & only savior, Jesus Christ, to cleanse you of them, and make you a new person? Is he the Lord of your life? If you can answer yes to all of these questions, then you can be baptized by any other Christian.
You are following in Jesus' steps when he said "repent & be baptized", and he also was baptized to show you the way to go. Is it necessary to be baptized? No, not really, but Jesus comanded it, so shouldn't we obey if we are going to follow him?
As for your question about not worrying about any of the Bible....I think you probably already know the answer to that question. If you are having trouble understanding your Bible, may I suggest you try a more modern translation? I love my New Living Translation (don't mistake this with the Living Bible, that's totally different). It's a very accurate phrase for phrase translation. It's very easy to read & understand, unlike the King James Version, which is in a language we just don't speak or understand any longer.
I'm sorry you're getting so many crummy answers to your question. There are those who have no respect or tollerance for other people's beliefs, yet cry "intollerant" when we disagree with them.
Good luck!

If you are dying and a priest or minister can not get to you in time any person who is a practicing Christian and themself baptized in the name of the trinity can baptize you with water and in the name of the the father, the son, and the holy spirit.
Normally a priest or pastor in the line of Apolostic Succession is the best person. Water on the crown of the head or full immersion, doesn't matter. Must be in name of father, son, holy spirit. You must denounce Satan and all of his works and make some other promises which are in the prayer book.

First you need some knowledge:
You must be qualified to dedicate yourself to Jehovah God, and undergo Christian baptism in symbol of an unreserved dedication to the Most High God.
Accurate Knowledge Essential
8 Christian baptism is not for everyone. Jesus ordered his followers: “Go . . . and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19, 20) Before being baptized, people must be ‘taught to observe all the things Jesus commanded his disciples.’ Hence, forced baptisms of those lacking faith based on accurate knowledge of God’s Word are valueless and contrary to the commission Jesus gave his true followers.—Hebrews 11:6.
9 What does it mean to be baptized “in the name of the Father”? It means that the baptismal candidate recognizes our heavenly Father’s office and authority. Jehovah God is thus acknowledged as our Creator, “the Most High over all the earth,” and the Universal Sovereign.—Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 40:28; Acts 4:24.
10 To be baptized ‘in the name of the Son’ means to recognize Jesus’ office and authority as God’s only-begotten Son. (1 John 4:9) Those qualified for baptism accept Jesus as the one through whom God has provided “a ransom in exchange for many.” (Matthew 20:28; 1 Timothy 2:5, 6) Baptismal candidates must also acknowledge the “superior position” to which God has exalted his Son.—Philippians 2:8-11; Revelation 19:16.
11 What is the significance of baptism ‘in the name of the holy spirit’? This indicates that the baptismal candidates recognize that the holy spirit is Jehovah’s active force, used in various ways in harmony with his purpose. (Genesis 1:2; 2 Samuel 23:1, 2; 2 Peter 1:21) Those qualifying for baptism acknowledge that the holy spirit helps them to understand “the deep things of God,” to carry on the Kingdom-preaching work, and to display the spirit’s fruitage of “love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control.”—1 Corinthians 2:10; Galatians 5:22, 23; Joel 2:28, 29.

You can be baptized by anyone who is a true believer in the word of God (BIBLE) and lives their life accordingly. Their religious values should be in-line with yours and you should also be certain that you are ready to make this step since it is a very important committment.

I am qualified to baptize you but are you qualified to be baptized? You are to be saved first, then be baptized.
