I have a three yr old australian shepherd. She has always been pretty calm. One day her and another dog went running and were gone for 9 hrs! She came back and slept for about three days (she got up to eat but slept and was really tired). When she started to get some energy, she was walking around with a slight limp. We checked her out and noticed a TICK... but no where near the foot she was limping on. We just called the vet. But what could she have? Lyme Disease? Please help me! I'm worried

I doubt that the tick would have anything to do with her limping. There's no telling what she did while she was out. If you haven't already, check the pads on her feet and between them. She may have stepped on something that hurt her. When you go to the vet have him/her check as well. X-rays may be necessary.
You may want to have her tested for Lyme and Erlichia. This is a simple test that requires only a Small amount of blood. It's the same test they use for heartworms. Of course, it may be too soon to be able to detect either disease. Even if the tests are all negative, you may want to put her on antibiotics, just in case.
As a side note, I have removed many ticks from my dogs and they've never been sick...but I make sure they're vaccinated for Lyme Disease.

Well - what did the vet say?! Limping is not a symptom of Lyme's so I really don't think this and the tick are related. If she was gone that long anything could've happened to her, she's probably hurt herself.
Going to the vets is the best bet - and you can pick up some treatment to prevent ticks while you're there!

First of all you need to monitor and supervise your pets when they are outside..as for the limp..I seriously doubt a tick would cause this. She probably stepped on something or twisted her leg/foot while running around. If you called the vet, what did he/she say? don't worry so much...but you might want to get her checked out by your vet just to be safe...next time don't let her run loose like that .. has she been spayed?

Ok due to the fact that I do not suppose you imply the nostril however particularly the muzzle. My recommendation is a few puppies reply to pleasure through rubbing their head towards the bottom. I suppose it possibly a call for participation to play. Try preserving her on leash and while she appears like she is happening to rub, say no and tug at the leash rather. When she appears at you invite her to play and distract her from rubbing. My man rubs the part of his muzzle towards the bottom while he's particularly excited and wishes me to chase him. Don't question me what makes him do it, he simply does. After doing the primarily it takes is me to mention no and he returns to me and performs. If this maintains up investigate it out with the vet however odds are it a few style pleasure conduct. Try preserving a squeaky toy and squeak it earlier than she is going to the bottom. You can do that despite the fact that it is not an pleasure conduct.

Yes it could be or she injured her leg while running.
Treatment for lyme is easy to treat it is 2 weeks of oral tetracycline and really nothing to worry about once treated , it is one of the nicer tick diseases to deal with
others are far more problematic for example babesia
Greyhounds we bring up from the US track we test them for tick diseases and often have to treat them , so I have experience with several types and in some there is no way to kill all the organisms in the blood , that is why I referred to lyme as being a nicer tick disease
Edited since some people misunderstood my comments

She might have just hurt her leg. Check her over for other ticks and give her a bath too.
