yes i do, i do the whole big bang party thing(all his friends, family, games, bouncy castles etc) lol but that's only because i only have one child and so i can afford to.. if i had more children i dont think i would be having a big party every year, probably just 1st and 5th birthdays and then just small sleep over type ones or friends coming round for a play type of thing not a full blown party...

No, I'm a bad mum I've never given my son a birthday party and he's 12 lol. He's never actually asked for one, thank god as I'm the most disorganised person ever and it would probably be a shambles lol. When he was younger, we just had his cousins and some family around for a wee party in the house. For the past few years we usually go out for a meal with my sister and his cousin, and he can decide where we go, then maybe go to the pictures or bowling afterwards. If he had ever asked for a party I suppose I would have done it, but it would probably have meant spending a huge amount of money for some shitty place that serves frozen chicken nuggets and having to put up with all the neddy parents (I sound like a pure snob lol) dropping off all their brats and trying to stay to get a free dinner lol.

We threw a "blow out" for the first birthday, but generally we keep the parties small.
We invite the four grandparents and two aunties over for a birthday dinner ever year and then we host a "friends" party on the weekend of our child's birthday. We limit the guest list and we just organize some games and order pizza. Nothing over the top. :)

I have a birthday party for my 4 y/o daughter every year. Sometimes it's just a few family members and a couple of friends but we always celebrate in some way.

We had a birthday party for my son for his first and second birthdays. For his third birthday we took him on a jet boat trip up a local river which took all day so when we got home we just had cake ourselves.
So no, we haven't had a party every year, but we have found a special way to celebrate each birthday.

So far, yes I have, my oldest son is 4 and a half and my youngest is 1 and a half, and I choose a theme, something I know theyre interested in, and decorated the house in it for them.. at the ages that theyre at right now, I usually just have family over, but as they get older and are in school, there will be friends to play with too! I think it's important to celebrate birthdays :)

yes, we do have a party every year, but as the years go on, we are doing less of a big party and more something for her and her new little friends...she's 5 now so we do a small party at home for family and then she gets to pick something to do with her 4 friends from school...this year they went to libby lu's and got their hair and nails done and did a little fashion show...it was cute...

I don't.
My oldest (11) likes to keep things low-key. We do things as a family. (One year we went to the zoo. Another year, we had a movie-night at home.)
My 3-year-old had the typical first birthday. For his 2nd birthday, we went to the local aquarium. For his 3rd birthday, we had a BBQ but asked that no one bring presents. (Several relatives donated to the local hospital instead.)

The first year was a big deal. From then on out, we usually just have a few family members come over for cake/presents. Sometimes we make a dinner out of it (something easy like soups/chili, etc.).

yes I do I have two kids and every year they get a party, it does not have to be a big one but I still give them one, they enjoy getting some kind of gift and having the family around giving them all the attention.
