Yes, killing and suicide are two major sins in Islam.
Why don't people realize that people will twist religion to fit their views.
Anybody can hijack a religion.
It is due to lack of education and poverty that is making young people become terrorists.
Also, misguided and extremely wrong information about Islam is being spoon fed to these men.
They view globalization as a threat. They believe that the U.S. is trying to eradicate their ways of living and to replace with something totally foreign. The U.S. culture.
To blame on religion on terrorism is not going to help this war against terrorism.
You have to address all the issue that drives somebody to become a terrorist.
I agree with a woman named Jessica Stern. She has studied terrorism in Christianity, Islam and Judaism. She has made very accurate assumptions on how to help stop terrorism.
Killing terrorists is only going to fuel the fire. The terrorists wanted the U.S. to attack Iraq.
Think about it. A young men is talking to terrorists recruiters and they hear about American soldiers raping a 16 year old girl.
That image and others is only making terrorists hate the West even more.
It's a tough illness (terrorism) to get rid of in this world, but to fight against it then just killing is not the answer.

then what's up with that verse in the Koran that says "slay the unbeilevers" it's somewhere in there look it up. Guess what I don't see peace in that, me and many others. And no I know that most muslims arent't terrorists. If you want real peace go to the only one who can give it, the Prince of Peace. I respect you but do Islam and peace go hand in hand? Again check up on the Koran and get your answer.

Yes, I know this. Christianity is also about peace.
If all Christians would do what Jesus said to do, and all Muslims would do what Mohammed said to do, this world would be a much better place.
Salaam!

I do not hate Muslims. I do not give any credence to Islam because it denies both that Jesus was the son of God and that He died on the cross to pay for our sins.
But I do appreciate what you said.

Yes, the Islamic religion is all about peace and submission to God. It's just a few extremists that ruin its good name.
