I tried being religious, but I can't I get angry all the time and I hate almost everyone. I am a White Supremacist and I can't change. SInce I can't ever get rid of my ideas, shouldn't I just give up?

You are unwilling to change and that is your choice. You can choose to change anytime you want. If and when that time ever comes you might be able to accept a loving and kind lifestyle - but if you are not willing to change, to stop the rage, to stop the hatred, you will not be considered pious.

Now, do you belong to a religion that tells you that you will be condemned for your beliefs? If so, it seems like a form of self torture to continue - but if you want to "improve" your moral life you might want to continue and try to exert a little self control in the hatred department. You know what I mean?

Incidentally, you are doing more harm to yourself than almost anyone else with hatred beliefs. People who harbor and relish negative emotions live very uncomfortable lives as their health deteriorates to mirror the darkness in the heart and mind.

Peace!

While we disagree on most points, your question deserves an answer.

Actually, you can change your ideas. It's not easy, but it is easier than getting rid of the underlying hate and rage. As for religion, there are some Christian splinter groups and nasty-*** Pagan deities out there whom you might find compatible. You've got internet; do some googling.

When it comes to the being angry all the time, you might consider keeping a journal or a blog. It helps express what you feel without hurting somone else, and in the case of a blog, you may find others who feel the same way and would be willing to discuss things with you.

Can you give up being religious?

For many people, being religious is absolutely about opinions. It means believing in certain ideas (e.g., there is a God) or stories (the Bible is true), and having ideas about one group of people as compared with others. It may mean following rules about how one is to live and believing those rules to be absolutely true.

Religion isn't always about being in love with the world. I'm sure you are a good person

yes....because being religious will never get you far. Different traditions without reasoning will lead to madness. Stop searching for a religion and start looking for an encounter; and experience that will lead to the truth that there is someone higher than man. You can get rid of white supremacists views....its a mindset. You have to stop and think why I do what I do and why do i believe what I believe. God speed.

The fundamental problem is that most religions are elitist. Most (including mine) teach that if you do X, Y and Z, you will be superior to people who do not do those things. Notice that this is inherently prejudicial.

Freeing yourself from religion, or at least organized religion (feel free to create your own religion, if that's what suits you), will put you in a better position to be tolerant of people who are different from you.

Furthermore, if you really are angry at the world (you sort of implied that), some basic mental health treatment (not necessarily professional) may be what you will benefit most from. I'm not necessarily advocating psychotherapy, but maybe just reorganizing your life to reduce stress, exercising more, building satisfying relationships with people you enjoy being around, etc. will help you get past much of your anger.

If all that doesn't help, a psychotherapist can help you learn new thought patterns (e.g., "When someone is rude to you, you can think @#!, but you could think #@$ instead. Let's practice that this week"). Psychotherapy focused on teaching me new thinking habits is how I got over my anger issues.

Good luck!

No!!!!
The Bible says:
2 Timothy 2:15
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16-But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness
17And their word will eat as doth a canker;

If you continue to study the Bible. You will come to the truth and the truth will make you free.
Don't give up. Read the scripture and pray for understanding.
Don't take action on your hatred, and stay away from people that are feeding your feelings.

Are you looking for an affirmation, an argument, or an answer? For an affirmation, I'd say, "Yes, you should give up." For an argument, I'd say, "No, you should not give up." For an answer...I'd say, "I don't know who you are, but you seem to want people to think you're messed up. I'm not sure, as with anything on the internet, where everyone can wear a mask, so it is pointless to respond." And yet I responded. Behold my manifest stupidity...perhaps I am bored. I apologize.

"fact" can't persecute every physique. yet human beings persecute different persons for his or her religions. Muslims persecute Christians, hindus persecute muslims, then back called non violent Buddhists persecute others. There are constantly some human beings whose "magical ideals" are so reliable and severe that they suspect they're justified in doing regardless of they desire to others who do not settle for his or her very own ideals. as far as fact is going, however, as long as a results of fact the mystical ideals do not go particular traces(i.e. believing you may fly, and leaping off of homes), has little impression on believers.

Religious is a strong word, more political. Spiritual should be your main goal. I know how you feel, don't ever give up. In times when you feel that way, pray, meditate, breath. All it takes is the faith of a mustard seed. Read the bible and go by topics of interest like, anger, forgiveness, etc. Stay strong, don't ever give up cause God will never give up on you.
