Its in my old married name. From June 2004. Do I still need to pay this? or is there a limitation of time they have to bill me?

You need to call the insurance company you were covered by during that time. Make sure they have the claim on file. If not, make sure it gets filed. If the provider of service did not file the claim in time, and are participating with your insurance, you won't have to pay the bill. In network doctor's & hospitals are contractually obligated to write-off a claim denied for timely submission. If they're out of network, you can file the claim yourself. Most insurance companies will allow 1 year to submit a claim... BUT, they will let you appeal the denial, and possibly pay it. Good luck

No, there's no time limit on collecting this. Unfortunately, there is usually a one year time limit, on submitting it to your insurance company.

So I guess this one is going to be out of pocket for you. Sorry.
