I am looking for honeymoon ideas for June of 2008. We will be in Southern California so I was thinking of a cruise that leaves directly from there. Neither of us have ever been on a cruise before. We are also considering other options although if we're flying somewhere I'd prefer a flight that isn't too terribly long. We are on a budget. I was hoping to be done with it for $2000 total but I see I may have to increase the budget to get what we want.

Please, I really want replies from people that aren't trying to pimp their own product. Also, it can't be too terribly far from Los Angeles because we'll have to complete this in a week. That's going to be the problem with Alaska... it takes 10 days from L.A.

Go on an Alaskan cruise! It is stunning! You see the northern lights, the sky turns pink and green, beautiful! You see seals and dolphins. It is amazing!

well first u need to narrow down what kind of vacation u want to go on? beach? islands? in the us? out of the us? good luck tho because i booked mine last year and had a hard time finding a hotel that wasn't booked. try cabo san lucas. thats a nice pretty area. u will probably need a passport tho. maybe u could go to a beach on the other side of the united states from where u live? ocean city md is nice. thats where i am going. or atlantic city nj? there is a lot of casinos there. or you could go to some beaches along the coast in ny. or if u are already on the east coast u could try some beaches in california. that would be nice. or hawaii. everyone loves hawaii. or look up a little lesser known island and go there. that would be neat. i am interested to hear where u decided to go!

try the mexican riveria cruise out of long beach...7 days and under $1000.(for 2 people) so you should have plenty of money to enjoy the sites at all the ports of call. Plus have someone else do the "driving" from port to port !
