I most certainly believe in God, but I am not at all religious. I was raised Catholic and do have a respect for organized religion but have chosen not to take part in it. I consider my religion to be of my own. I research a lot about various religions and put together what I feel deep inside to make the most sense and be right. So I guess you could say that I have an eclectic spirituality based on various faiths and my own personal experience. I believe that God is a powerful force behind the universe, or that God is the universe and we are all God because we are all one. God is Love. Its very hard to explain but this is what I feel when I meditate and I base a lot of my beliefs on that. I feel that being spiritual rather than religious leaves my mind open to new ideas and expanding what I believe in. It is admitting that you are not necessarily right and are simply looking for truth. Anyone who is not like me, I still respect them and hope that they give me the same. To each his own.
Peace

Hey Seal, haven't seen you in awhile. I missed you.
I don't know what to think God is like anymore. We were given so many wonderful things. So many things in this world are beautiful. I don't put much stock in the bible or quran.
I really don't think God cares about all of these rituals and alot of the rules religions come up with. I'm hoping God is loving, understanding, and patient.
I don't understand why God just dumped us though. Why wasn't God more involved with teaching us. We are like (I never spell this right) ferile children. I look at the world and I get so sad and angry. God could have taught us the right way to be I think. I like Jesus' teachings of love peace, understanding. He was only here for three years. Even what he taught is put in the back ground in favor of everyone getting into heaven because Jesus was crucified. I'm sorry Seal, I think I probably just wasted your time.
I have no religion. I just believe in God.
Take care Seal

I believe "God" (if that's what you want to call It, I call it Divinity.) is that which has put order to the universe. I don't believe that It takes a personal interest in us on a day to day basis. I believe it's highly probable that It is merely Physics and Biology. I believe (as most religions do) that Divinity is perfect and that we are not. I also believe that Divinity was smart enough to know that we would never be able to agree completely on what It is, so many different dogmas and beliefs, but the vast majority of them point in the same direction. I don't think how we got here is important, what's important is what we do with what we have while we are here.
I've got some friends who try to call me eclectic pagan, but I prefer Nondenominational Pagan, myself.

I do not believe in the Bible version of God, nor the Quran's version. That god is hateful and murderous.
I do not believe that Jesus was the son of that god.
I do believe in a God of compassion, and that God is the force that created the universe, not in the Creationist way, but though the laws of nature/physics/science (also created by God).

I believe God is not like ANYTHING we've ever seen or experienced. He is the OMNI-Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Omniscient and He is LOVE...agape love. I believe the GOd of the bible's old testament and the Quran are the same and I believe Jesus Christ is the atoning embodiment of God so that we all could become HIS people. Jealousy, controversies over who HIS CHOSEN people are and who the messiah is or is not are the very arguments and endless geneologies we were warned NOT to involve ourselves in...it is a waste of time and our time is short... Love is the answer.

Millions, billion? If we are talking about the planet, then billions.
I am Roman Catholic.
I think GOD is every emotion and attitude humans can have.
GOD is not restricted to Jewish/Christian metal limits, GOD is as all humans see her/him.
You mean is GOD like Morgan Freeman in Bruce Almighty, or if your older George Burns, or what about Dogma, GOD - voice, and power in two persons, great movie. Do you mean all scary and just a voice in the clouds, lightning flying? Yeah all these and trillions other ideas.
GOD is all.

I classify myself as eclectic Wiccan, a Pagan, earth based religion that reveres nature and both the masculine and feminine divinity. Thank you for asking.
If you're curious about all the different religions out there, you might wanna check out www.religioustolerance.org. They've got everything, all presented with respect for all/no faiths. It's a really interesting fun site!

I think of God as a being of energy that we all join when we die. Should you want to seperate then you can, come back to Earth then that too is okay.
Live your life well, be kind and God will let you stay, try to infect the mass with evil and you will be cast out.
As far as religion goes- all of them are evil, uncaring, hipocritical, and downright worthless as are more religious people- some exceptions apply

Well, you want my religion, but I don't have one. "Life", I guess. God...God is everywhere. Every compassionate, loving feeling or moment I've ever experienced points directly at God. I've never gotten the sense that God is angry or jealous, but only of love. Anything more is just guesswork.
