this lad knows i like hm and he knows i want to ask him to prom but the thing is i am soo scared he will say no and each time i go to ask him i get so nervous i shake i dont no if its the fact im scared of regection or not but i really want to ask him because i really like him please someone help me how can i not be so nervous...

Ok take a breath. First of all if the guy knows you like him and he does not try to avoid you, that means he is not rejecting you. He is just waiting for you to ask him. Think of that, if he did not want to go with you, he would not let you ask him. If you don't ask him then you will never know if he liked you. remember you have the power if there is a relationship or not. It is not up to him until you give him a chance to say yes. Think how you will feel after you ask him. Empowered because he said yes and it was because you made the first move. Or now it gives you time to get over him and find a better guy to ask to the prom. It is not the end of the war. You will never know till you ask him. Good Luck!!

its better to know and be rejected than to not know and regret . its quite normal to feel nervous when we ask someone out. But like the saying goes, if at first you dont suceed, then try, try, try again. Good luck. Be confident and get asking before someone else does!Dress up for the occasion.This helps with your own confidence. And think positive!

If you never ask you'll never know.... So try and breathe and talk about something first and be like who you going with to the prom and if he says no one say me either and maybe he'll ask you and if that doesn't work then say you want to go together.

just realize that there will be more guys and try to take a deep breath or you could always do the ask your friend to ask him but it's a little cowardly if you ask me but at least it gets the job done
