what does "mori" mean? not sure on the spelling but our boss calls all of us waitresses that...i even had a greek customer say it to me too....does any1 know what it means?????

Your boss is being a little rude to you.
Mori is μωρή in greek and it is adressed to a woman (feminine adjective form).
It means imbecile or something like that originally, but
it is rather used as a reproaching term or a demonstration of familiarity.
More (mohREH) is the equivalent for a man.

One thing I know is that "mori" is derived from the word "morir" which pertains to death or the dead and is taken from latin. Words like morbid, mortuary, rigor mortis... But I am not sure if YOU are spelling correctly what your boss calls you.

It is a shortening of amuuri - luv in English. It's a compliment and an endearment. No need for alarm.
