Yes...add brewers yeast to your diet and to your pets food (about half a tablespoon a day per hundred pounds body wieght for you, a teaspoon a day in the dogfood)and get some carpet treatment from the pet store to get rid of the nastly little things.

Yep. They'll chew on anything with warm blood. They don't generally infest humans like they do cats and dogs though. You'll probably only see one or two on you at most, though you'll probably itch from the others that you don't see when they bite. They're not going to be staying on you long though, just long enough to bite you and then they'll jump off.
Give your dog a flea bath with some flea shampoo from your pet store. Get some flea medication from your vet and use that too. You might also want to pick up some flea powder for your rugs at the pet store while you're there. Sprinkle it on the rug, let it sit for the required amount of time and then vacuum it up. This will kill and remove any flea eggs they've laid in your carpet. The vet's medication, combined with flea shampoo, will kill any adult fleas on your dog.
All of that combined should help reduce the fleas greatly if not get rid of them all together.
Good luck!

Dog fleas do bite humans yes. They don't live on humans (i.e stay in your hair or clothes) but you can still get many bites and they're awful!
Get your dog treated with a product from the VET (not a pet shop, don't waste your money on cheapo stuff that doesn't work). You will also need something to treat your house with, as where fleas are present on an animal they WILL be in the environment.

Yes, but it's not common. Fleas like the blood from your dog more than they like your blood.
You do, however, want to get the flea problem cleared up. It will make your dog much happier to be flea-less.

Yes!
They won't stay on you, but they will jump on ya and take an occasional nibble.
They will get into your carpeting and furniture and can be next to impossible to get rid of.
Prevention is the best cure. Get your puppy some of the good flea repellent like Frontline. Don't buy the cheap stuff in the grocery store. It doesn't work as well and can be dangerous to your puppy.

Yes, you can most defiantly get fleas from your dog. You will have to get treated for fleas, and have your house cleaned.

Yes, fleas can live in your hair like lice. I would get your hair checked and then go from there.
