Like the title said Jesus the Son of God would have to be my favorite, but besides Him, I would have to say Moses or Paul, how about you?

Elijah - a powerful prophet who walked with God and did some very amazing things but who was human enough to run from Jezebel and hide by the brook Cherith.

I mean, how many people pour water all over something and try to make it impossible for God to do something and then believe God will do the impossible thing anyway. To make it more interesting he stood alone against an army of false prophets, a heathen nation and an unbelieving Israel who should have taken God at his word.

Also, how many people would have had the guts to call a king out in a time when offending the king could mean sudden death if the king wished it.

He did so many other things that were impressive, but the one
thing that always stands out to me is his weakness because it show me that God can work through a weak vessel to do great and mighty things if he has a surrendered heart to work with. This man's life proves God's faithfulness and power.

The Prophet Jeremiah/the weeping Prophet, he confirmed lots faith in God on an identical time as living in the main necessary era of Judah's life as a kingdom. He begged his people to instruct to God till now it replaced into too late. He observed the destruction of Jerusalem and the holy Temple. Jeremiah witnessed the autumn of the Assyrian Empire and the dying of King Josiah.

Good question, but a tough choice. Besides Jesus, I'd say either Paul, the Virgin Mary, or John the Baptist. I look forward to singing God's praises alongside all of them!

Actually although Jesus is my Lord and Savior he is not my favorite Bible Character. That has to go to David for me. His story reads like a good movie. Underdog made good - lots of action, intrigue, the adultery, the dispute between his sons for the throne. Not sure if Hollywood ever tackled his life story but if not they should.

My favorite, other than Jesus Christ, is Ruth. The book of Ruth is a beautiful story of the love between an elderly widow, Naomi, and her widowed daughter-in-law Ruth.

For me, it is Jeremiah. In the first chapter of Jeremiah, he states all the reasons why he believes he is not good enough for the calling that God was giving him. Many times, I feel the same way about my life. Jeremiah was also very emotional, and it reminds me that it is okay to be a passionate person about my faith and about anything I care about.

I love Paul second best because of his formulation of Christian theology, especially as written in the Book of Romans. His elucidation of the doctrine of the sovereignty of God in the ninth chapter is soul-stirring!
