how do you tell if a dog is pregnet?

U can tell this by the way it act. some actings are sleeping starting to eating less and staying near home and makeing a bed.

You take it to the vet, which of course you would be doing anyway for advice if you suspect your pet is pregnant.

If you don't know the answer to this question, you definitely need a trip to the vet so you know what to expect and what to do during and after the pregnancy. She may just be having a phantom pregnancy, the early symptoms are the same.

Or if her belly's blown up like a balloon, she might have worms! The only way to be sure a dog is NOT pregnant is spaying.

Depends on when, if you saw the dog breeding with another dog or if the dog was out where a male dog could breed with her !!! If she is pregnant, you will know in about 8 weeks or so or as others suggested, a vet can tell you !! As the pregnancy progresses, she will get a bigger belly & her nipples will enlarge :)

you can till that the dog is pregnant when you see that the dog always get close with the dog it mated with and she is losing its appetite and wants to sleep alot

when it panting fast ,its belly get big and the nipels are sticking out to prepare the milk for the babies and it has an additude and when they sleep alot
