my cousin is mentally disabled and he live with me ssi sent a lump sum back payment but stop .they said it stopped cause he had no bills.So we found him a apt and some one will come over every day and check on him will this continue his disability and ssi cause he needs clothes furniture a bed and a vehicle so he can be escorted where ever he ned to go.And this person which is our cousin will be his rep-payee she is very smart and reliable

This is something the Social Security Administration should be answering. Just because you got him an apt, doesn't mean he will get SSI, the Social Security's welfare agency. It is issued to people that have low social security benefits, helping them make ends meet. By the sounds of your question, it makes one wonder exactly who wants the SSI, the disabled person, or the caregiver, or the rep-payee. There is no reason to set him up with bills, just to receive SSI.
