This isn't meant to be racist, and if you think it is, I could care less about your narrow minded opinion, I'll just give you a thumbs down and avoid reading your retarded answer. with that out of the way...

I was reading on another board that black people as a whole LOVE shrimp. I've never seen a black person at red lobster on the all you can eat shrimp thing(which as a white guy, I dominate btw) so, the question is, Is shrimp a well liked fodd with black culture?

Also, while I'm at it. I rarely see black people eating mongolian or mexica food. is this a cultural gap, or is this a geographical gap?

Well I'm a black female and honestly I don't eat any kind of seafood, but my father and alto of my friends do. Although my family does go to red lobster quite often. Also alot of my friends from Louisiana absolutely love shrimp. Oh yeah I love Mexican food with a passion. Maybe its just me. And your question was find but to all the narrow minded people giving you answers, it show how slow you are by thinking that the only thing that black people eat is chicken. You need to get a life and do something with yourself. Not to be racist but that's like me saying every white person is stupid because they walk into trouble trying to figure out whats going on in a situation. Its a stereotype because I don't even like chicken that much. And I don't eat fried chicken at all...

Really, I think it's just the way you word the question. If a person eats shrimp or lobster, or mongolian food simply isn't dictated by the colour of their skin. Some people like it others don't and that's from every colour and race. I appreciate that you don't mean your questions to be offensive and you can't understand why they are but most people probably can't understand why you are equating colour to eating habits. There isn't a correlation between those things. for example The all you can eat shrimp thing, you say "as a white guy" you dominate it. I suspect it's more likely you "dominate" it because you are 186lbs and as such probably eat a lot, it takes a lot of food to power that much body. Being white has nothing to do with it.

This may be why some people have taken offence as your questions. If you genuinely wanted to investigate this issue you could word the question in a race neutral way.
maybe
"I am conducting and investigation into different cultural eating habits. Please could you state if you like shrimp, lobster, mexican or mongolian food and also tell me your ethinic origin and the country you were brought up in."

With that question nobody is likely to take offense and you may get the information you want.

Good luck with the next question.

I know exactly what you are saying ,I think it has to do with where you live.I think if you live in a area that is heavily populated with black people you would probably find some that do eat those different kinds of food,Where I live we do have a Good many black and Hispanic people and I see them at the Japanese ,Chinese,Mexican, and seafood places all the time.I live right on the coast and I see more black people(ex specially older ones) crabbing and shrimping all the time..When I lived up north I did not see nearly as many black people eating at these restaurants but the black population was nat near as large as it is here.also this a college town and I think younger black people are more diverse in what they eat than what the older people are.

I personally love shrimp, and adore mexican food! Also, I'm generally the first in line at a Chinese buffet, which I believe is what you're referring to when you say mongolian. However, I was raised and still live in a very culturally mixed area, which probably accounts for my tastes.

I don't think you are a racist at all. I do, however think that you are not very intelligent. You wrote that you would just give someones answer a thumbs down and avoid reading their retarded answer. So, tell me non-racist, how do you vote on a answer you refuse to read?

New Orleans is famous for its shirmp gumbos and all sorts of delicious fish dishes.

As for not frequenting the so called mogolian/mexican food around, it shows that they do have good taste.
