2.) If you'd care to share your reason(s), then, please do so.

My take: 1.) Accept
2.) Because, He accepts me and I love it that He does so. It is very BIG of Him. (my opinion.)

1 (Accept)

2) I believe in God because there has to be one. We might only have a limited knowledge of him and his ways and wisdom, but there has to be one because "why is there something instead of nothing?"

The great challenge of Atheism is to answer that question. I repeat, "WHY IS THERE SOMETHING INSTEAD OF NOTHING?" In other words, who started the big bang? Who made all that stuff that was crammed together in that little dot that blew up and made the universe? How did that dot get there and who made the matter it was composed of?

There is a God. Maybe we know him, maybe we just think we know him, but we are here and we got here somehow. Our best bet is to try and acknowledge him and live the best we can.

Acknowledge and ignore.
He's someone else's God.
Decency (or you could call it morality, or respect) demands that I acknowledge that other people have Gods, Religions and Faiths.
In essence, play nicely.
I tell myself this (so it is written in both the first and second person).
You don't have to agree with what other people think, in fact, you can disagree vehemently if that's your game.
Gods, on the other hand, are off limits.
You don't disrespect Gods.
You can be as disrespectful as you want of people, and their beliefs, but until you are a God, you do not have the right to be disrespectful to a God.
Chances of you becoming a God?
Next to zero.
So just play nice.
As a way of looking at life it works pretty well.
I 'play' at my level.
If I think I've done wrong by the Gods I make amends, in my own way, in my own time.
I make my peace with them.
I'm a simple man, it's a simple philosophy, but it works for me.

Accept.

I was actually saved when I was very young. When I became a teenager I became a not very nice person even though God was still looking out for me.. In fact the thing that most amazed my family and the people that knew me was that I was not dead or in prison before I was 18 because it was just a matter of time.

If I had graduated from High School I would probably have been voted "Person most likely to be in prison before graduation."

God protected me from being killed by other bad guys, from being imprisoned by police, from being killed car surfing or trick riding on motorcycles at 70-80 mph even though many of my friends died in accidents, gun fights, knife fights, etc.

When I was 25 Jesus came to me and explained that I had to get my act together. If you remember how the disciples acted when Jesus showed up after the cross then you know about how I acted. I have striven to live a boring life since then.

Since meeting Christ I can kind of generalize Christians into two categories by talking about things I did when I was young. The kind that think I am bragging about not being punished for my sins and who tell me I am not a Christian and the kind that realize I am bragging about what God did for me by changing me. I pray harder for the ones who think I am not a Christian.

I do not have the luxury of thinking God might not exist.

My "so-referred to as 'christian'" faith became created by making use of Christ, and -- no -- accepting evolution isn't a issue for us Orthodox Christians. in reality, the final public of Christians settle for evolution as a factor of God's plan.

1) the Christian, Muslim, or any other manmade Gods, Deny. (I was raised a Christian, btw).
However, is there the possibility that there is SOME kind of God or any similiar force behind the beginning of our universe? I don't rule that out.

2) Bible and other religious scripture don't add up. History, science, and contradictions inside these books themselves disprove scriptures supposedly written or inspired by divine influence. That, and it's logical.

Can't know.

There are a somethings that can not be known by man. This is not a problem, it just the way it is. But neither can I blindly "believe" for beliefs sake. I'll just try to be a good human being.

Accept God.

God is very real in my life, and it is because of God I was created and born, as well as it is God that makes sure I can be within as much a blessing to people as God continually blesses me and those around me.

God is the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

Say: "O (My servants) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of God , verily God forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Az-Zumar 39:53)

[Ibrâhim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" (Al-Hijr 15:56)

I'm asking every one to just try to read about Islam one time in his life

Accept God, definitely!

because He has sacrificed so much for me, and I will never be worthy of the salvation He gives, yet, because I chose Him, it is a gift from the Lord.... He doesnt 'need' me... but thankfully, He was there and is there, when I need Him!
