The may eat smaller amounts but should have plenty of energy too. Babies do sleep a lot though.

Yes and no. The puppy may just be adjusting to her new home and is just a little scared of her new surroundings. If this keeps up after about a week or so then give your local vet a call and see what they may have to offer. When I first got my cat she did the same thing after a few days I would sit on the floor with her and make sure that she ate and would help her by moving the food closer to her. I hope that helps and she gets better :o)

has it recently had its innoculations?
sometimes they can have a reaction to this.
The dog should be bouncing
What are you feeding it? I can suggest feeding if you need more info.
You should take your dog to the vets monday!
What colour are the stools? grey can show a sign of parvo.
Puppy should also be eating well, Has it been wormed? If the dog has wormed it can either eat for england or it can go off its food because the worms are in the gut it make the pup feel full.
Has your dog been drinking dirty water while out or @ the breeders? it can happen were you didnt even know it has done it, It can make it sick high temp etc.

A 7-month old should have a healthy appetite and want to play quite a bit. Some dogs are quieter than others but this seems a little too quiet. Consult a vet.

If she was 7 weeks old this would be fine, but if she is 7 mos old, then she is sleeping too much, and not eating enough.. It's not normal.

I see you said she is only 7 weeks.. yes. That is normal. Puppies sleep alot and are sometimes very finicky about their food. Mine would only eat for a while there out of my hand. I did change to Beneful puppy food.. he LOVEs that. But, yes, the sleeping alot is normal.

I agree with Reddhea maybe stressed out by the new home. To be on the safe side have a vet check the dog out. Try messing with her play with her pet her a lot the dog maybe trying to get used to you.
