Try going to a medical supply company, look in the yellow pages. I found a place online, but you said you not want to go online. You could also try a local college bookstore to see if they carry them for EMT, or medical students. Don't know where locally, but you can find out from your local chapter of the American Red Cross.

to find one locally, just go to any medical supply store. Try checking around hospitals, usually medical supply stores, medical uniform stores, etc. set up shop near hospitals (makes sense really, but yeah).

Go to http://www.redcross.org and find your local chapter. Call them and see if they offer it locally!
Ours sells them for $5, but each chapter is separate in that sense.
