Branson:
Shorty Smalls is good.

You should try to make it to College of the Ozarks. Also dubbed Hard Work U. The students do everything from building the building that the restaurant is in...which is very impressive. Large log cabin resort. The waiters/waitresses are all students and a lot of the food is grown there on campus by students. The food is very good and it is quite an experience. They won't mind the 3 year old.

And of course there is always Cracker Barrell if there isn't one where you are from.

And..the precious moments chapel isn't anywhere near Branson so don't go looking for it. It was probably just one of the stops on her in-laws trips.

In Ozark: (about 30 miles away)
There is a place called Lamberts "Home of the Throwed Rolls" It is a lot of fun and the food is good. They throw rolls across the restaurant so it would be fun for the three year old. Plus if you are coming from St. Louis it will be on your way.

I haven't been there, but my former in-laws went to Branson. They were on a bus tour so they just ate at the normal chain-type restaurants. But I do remember them absolutely loving the Precious Moments museum. I'd think a 3 year old girl might like looking at all the pretty figurines.
