really, like WTF? when people are in love, they are all gushy and emotional and all, but if you were to take a step back and just observe, it's so pathetic. I just have casual sex with some of my girlfriends, withoiut all of the emotionally attatched fuss. Dosn't "love" eventually fade over time anyway? (like when the girl starts to look old).

You've got may things confused there, but thats society for you. Really all love is, is a word for all the feelings and emotions you feel for an individual or an entity. The whole concept behind that romantic love you see is a mixture of lust and love, not "true love". But love is something that grows with time, lust dies out eventually. See the problem is that our society likes to believe that friends don't become good lovers which leaves us with this ideal of romantic love, of spontanous love, of finding that special magically person just for you. The reality is magical, but not that way. So were forced to chase a fantasy that well most likly not happen for any of us. We as a norm need to develop the friendship over time tell it matures into a love affair, not making it a lover affair that eventual beomes a friendship. So really what your watching is two individuals doing everything they can to be attractive to the other hoping that someday they'll actual be friends. Which doesn't happen very well when your hiding who you are, so when your actual comfrontable with each other you find out, wow I don't like this person after all.... also sex isn't emotionaless, we can choose to deny theres any emotions but thats just lieing to yourself, and deteriates the possiable experience into nothing more then an ego fix... which is hard to keep up, god knows I did it for a long, long time, ether way good luck with that....
