how do i install the fuji film XD picture card?, it keeps saying card error.

it only goes in one way, with the brass side facing the batteries.

the card may need to be formated. I'm pretty sure you do that by plugging the camera into your computer and turning the camera on. the computer will "see" it and open the fujifilm program.

you can format or reformat the card with this program.

You might need to format the card. Look to the camera's setup menus for the format section. The user's manual will help.
