At my college they offered a free one hour session about evolution and intelligent design. The teacher was a biology professor at the school and believed that evolution was right. He explained to us he believed in God and a lot of people who agree with evolution also believe in God. He said that evolution does NOT explain how life started, just how it has developed over the years. It took about 15 minutes and bam it was crazy. people started yelling at him because evolution doesnt explain the start of life, they yelled at him because he explained how mitocondria producing energy is inefficient, and they yelled at him because they didnt read the entire bible.

i just wanted to hear what he had to say but instead we had to listen to jerks talk about how jesus made everything perfect. I JUST WANTED TO LISTEN TO THE LECTURE....luckily it was free so it was ok, but if i wanted to argue about religion vs sciencei would have come here and not went to school hoping to learn

i guess my question is, why cant christians just leave people who want to learn alone!

Don't blame it on Christians. You happen to walk into a situation where people who believe in God might have been the instigators. I say "might have" because I wasn't there.

First of all GOD made everything.The bible does talk about universe a lot.The bible says that everything GOD created was done in 6 days.GOD knows what was there before he created the universe and he knows where the universe will be going.He is in ultimate control over his creation.What more way to know about his creation than the word of GOD the bible.The universe declares GOD glory and shows his awesome power at work.But not only wants u to know about him creation he wants u to know him personally ,to love him and to have a wonderful relationship with him.
