Does this sentence make sense(spanish).?

Question

Mi clase favorita es educación física porque es divertida.
I'm trying to write: "My favorite class is PE because it is fun. "

I fear it isn't correct. If it isn't can you please fix it??!!!

what about this one :
"Siempre traigo mi lápiz, cuaderno, y papel a la clase."
I'm trying to say: "I always bring my pencil, binder, and paper to class."
is this one correct? I'm pretty sure it is but i need to make sure this makes sense

Everthing is OK, except for one thing: "binder" is not a "cuaderno"(cuaderno= notebook) I'd say "binder" is "carpeta".

Both sentences make sense and are correct. They are written in good Spanish. Bear in mind that native Spanish speakers from different countries or regions could use a slightly different wording, but yours is perfectly okay.

The only thing I can think of is the Spanish meaning of the word "binder". If you translate it as "cuaderno", why did you add "paper" (papel)?
Binder could mean an empty "carpeta", where you file your "papers".
"Cuaderno" is a copybook, that is binded sheets of papers.

Depending on what your intention is, it might may sense or be redundant the use of "cuaderno" y "papel".
You could say, "mi carpeta y papel.
