Wow - Lemme think..off the top of my head:
Adultery
Rape
Bank fraud
Libel and slander
Conspiracy to commit murder
Treason
Destruction of Property
Aggravated assault
Discharge of firearm within Jailhouse
Manslaughter
I don't think he bought or sold drugs, but the BoM could be considered a sedative.

OK, I know that this is going to sound silly. I am Catholic, so my knowledge of Mormonism is not too good. I have never read the Boof of Mormon or the Spaulding Book. I had never even heard of the Spaulding Book til you mentioned it.
You say Joseph Smith is a false prophet, and since most people are not Mormons, it follows the majority of people agree with you. You are perfectly entitled to this belief, but that is all it is, your belief.
You have to accept that not everyone shares your belief, and they are just as entitled to believe what they believe as you are to disbelieve it.
I actually have a lot of respect for the Mormon family I know personally. I simply do not have the self control to live such a disciplined life. No alcohol, tobacco, tea, coffee, swearing, etc - and unlike most of us Catholics - they seem to live by what they believe.
I want people to respect my beliefs, although not necessarily share them. I think I owe it to everyone else to offer them the same respect. It is not as though they do anything that is morally reprehensible.
If the Mormons came to my house to discuss religion, then if the timing was good I would let them in. If the timing was not good, I would offer them the opportunity to come back at a convenient time. Unfortunately though, if they wanted something to drink, they would have to bring it themselves. :-)

Well considering that all charges against him when he was alive was dropped because they were made up. He's no more guilty then you are ignorant. was he a perfect man? No, he tended to be pride and did make some big Political mistakes, but nothing Like you said happened; there's no proof. Besides even if half the stuff you said was true, most wasn't illegal back then, For example, marriage by age 16 was common ( he had only one wife by the way). so your question has no meaning, no answer, no relevancy, and really doesn't make any sense.

Since he was never convicted of any crime, even tho they tried, he wouldn't be in any prison today, either.
You need to get this chip off your shoulder about the LDS church.
BTW, any anti-Mormon will tell you, the Spaulding manuscript is not EVEN like the Book of Mormon.

Just admit that you hate Mormons (not very christ-like by the way) and stop making all these stupid posts.
You hate Mormons, we get it.
