cornea is the outer most part of r eye ........it is bulging outwards..it is through cornea that light enters the eye...so it basically allows the light to enter into the eye..
the lens (convex) converges the light passing through it...so that the image forms exactly on retina...
actually..most of the converging is done by the cornea ....only
the final convergence is done by the lens
