At first it might seem that if God created all things then evil must have been created by God. However, there is an assumption here that needs to be cleared up. Evil is not a "thing" - like a rock or electricity. You can't have a jar of evil! Rather, evil is something that occurs, like running. Evil has no existence of its own - it is really a lack in a good thing. For example, holes are real but they only exist in something else. We call the absence of dirt a hole - but it cannot be separated from the dirt. So when God created, it is true that all that existed was good. One of the good things that God made was creatures who had the freedom to choose good. In order to have a real choice, God had to allow there to be something besides good to choose. So God allowed these free angels and humans to choose good or non-good (evil). When a bad relationship exists between two good things we call that evil, but it does not become a "thing" that required God to create it.

Perhaps a further illustration will help. If I were to ask the average person "does cold exist?" - his/her answer would likely be yes. However, this is incorrect. Cold does not exist. Cold is the absence of heat. Similarly, darkness does not exist. Darkness is the absence of light. Similarly, evil is the absence of good, or better, evil is the absence of God. God did not have to create evil, but rather only allow for the absence of good.

Deep thinking. Theres lots of things to question in the bible. Like how did that man live in the whales belly for days. Ask a christian and all they say is I know its true because I feel the lord in me. Maybe when they start giving real answers more people will believe. Its like telling someone you believe in a purple polkadotted elephant. Show me proof then I'll believe. Ok so this didnt answer your question but i felt like ranting.

Also. these days if you tell the world that your the son of god they put you in a mental ward. Makes you wonder how many sons god sent to earth in the past 2000 years to get our attention and what mental hospital they are in.

Hmmm... Carry on.

GOD didnt invented infact GOD didnt wanted anything that is happening right now to happen. But he gave everyone a free will.He didnt create robots. He created a freewill. But one must understand that GOD is a holy GOD and hates sin and there no presence of sin near GOD.But GOD just didnt done with us when man sin.He prepared a way that very day.And the way is still available to u and me and everyone.I made the way. Will u?

"For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only beggotten son that whoso ever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life".So ask JESUS to be ur saviour and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur life.

God did not create sin. God is holy and He would not create that which is contrary to His nature. God created the conditions where free will creatures would be able to make a choice between obedience and disobedience toGod.God has created the condition in the world where the ability to rebel against Him was possible. Yet, he is not responsible for that rebellion once it has been committed.

Great question. I can guarantee that you will get a lot of answers on how the Devil created sin, which is pure poppycock. However, it is important for everyone, believers and non-believers to remember that you are in charge of your own life and you have an effect on the lives of others, so let's cut the violence ok?

human beings have been born with an intuition to seek for God. In looking, mankind has made many errors bearing directly to the authentic nature of God. it is not important how many diverse names human beings have arise with for the time of history, there are actually not many as we communicate. Greek and Roman mythology is long gone and purely studied so we are able to greater helpful understand literature. different than for some tribes in Africa and a few historic religions in China, we are all the way down to 3 substantial worldwide religions, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. Buddhists do no longer know any god, Hindus have names of many yet say they are all varieties of their one god, Brahma. Judaism, Islam, and Christianity all know the God of Abraham. as we communicate, this is narrowed all the way down to Brahma and the God of Abraham. each and all the religions claims that purely one god exists. each and each sees God in yet in any different case.

MY UNDERSTANDING, still seeking about it. The knowledge of sin was for the animals, that is why God call the devil the beast. Animals steal from one another, orgies for breading, gayness cuss of the breading ways of a animal, jealousy on the mates, cuss they breed multipule lovers many female's one male, look at the dogs . Animals r our food and clothing and help us when needed. When Adam and eve took from the tree, we gained animal knowledge, not Godly knowledge. U look to the animals and say well the animals do it shouldn't I. Evil was just for the animals, that was Gods creation and God doesn't call it evil cuss they r animals. But it is evil for us cuss we r in his image. And yes people, we r breeding, cuss the devil runs our lives.

Of course God did not invent everything. He did invent free will which gives you the ability to invent sin if you choose to.

God invented sin o give you a decision. He's not controlling and he didn't make the world to bow down and obey him by force. He wants to be loved and obeyed from decision, not force. He's given you options. You should be happy......

God did not create sin. We created it. God told tells us not to do something, but He gives us free will, and we decide if we are going to live for Him.
