my question is, do you think that leads us towards an understanding of how a Deity can create the world by thinking or speaking it?

The Soul is your connection with The Father. Your Soul intuitively senses the intelligence of The Father, IF YOU are able to minimize distractions by other material and carnal things in this world. If you have become too worldly your Soul becomes effectively "lost". First is the thought, then the action which creates reality. Same as it ever was.

Not unless the deity's doctor implanted a microchip in his brain that could relay to the computer what he was trying to do.

first, that technology sounds unlikely at this point.

second, it will lead those already believing to continue to, but it would not likely sway any minds. It only supports your case if you are really trying to shove a square peg into a hole.

No it still relies on physical inputs that can be measured not any unseen supernatural phenomena.
