Kleptis is the greek word for thief. Klepto is the ancient greek
verb for to steel.
Kratos is the greek word for power or state.
Kleptocracy= the fenomenon of a state or of a tendency to steel others, like Burocracy, the fenomenon of too much control and backlog.
A heavy taxing state could be called a kleptocracy. A state that, by means of taxes or high prices overwhelms citizens is a kleptocracy.-
Aristocracy is the fenomenon of a high class imposing over the rest of the citizens. From Aristos=best and krato'(verb)= be in power.-

Kleptocracy literally means rule by thieves.
It's a pejorative,informal term for a corrupt form of government and represents an extreme forms of the use of gov. In a kleptocracy rulers and their cronies use mechanisms of gov. to tax the public at large in order to amass personal fortunes.
Some of leaders blatantly disregard the common good of their people and of the nation in their charge and abuse their power for personal enrichment of their families,friends .(like in Russia,Africa,India...)I believe in USA too...
