The amount of money we use on our military isnt by how much we want to give it, it's based on a fixed percentage, and you hear people all the time claim how America's military spending is so much!

Well thats just because our GDP is actually so huge.

We have a GDP of 13.046 trillion dollars. thats huge, in fact #1 in the world by a long shot.

And we only use about 4.5% of that toward our military.

And the military spends it on stuff probably that you and me will see become the weapons of tomorrow in a few years, theyre already working on lasers.
