God does not create people with mental illness. People get mental illness because they will not listen to God and it opens doors for demons to come into their life. Disobedience to God opens the doors for all trouble to come into your life. When I came back from the Gulf War in 1990, I suffered from some mental illness. My mind was in a fog or haze. I knew there was something wrong with me, but I could not find my way out. You know there's something wrong, but your locked in that place, because of demons. When I decided to go back to church, my mind was instantly healed and the fog was lifted. In the book of Daniel, Daniel warned Nebudchadnezzar not to lift his head up in pride. But the king did not "listen", so he was given the mind of a animal for 7 years. Yes, he had mental illness, but it was his decision which opened the door for it to happen.

Schitzophrenia is the result of man's fall in the garden. Before that fall there was no such thing. So you should take the responsibility for schitzophrenia. God does allow for mental illness but to what extent we do not know.

Why does God allow sorrow? Because life must have contrasts. Pain must exist if pleasure is to exist. You cannot understand what light is without the dark. One cannot exist without the other. Pain and sickness give us an appreciation for health and vitality. Life sucks. How we react to hard times proves to God what we are really made of. How we exercise our faith shows him our true natures.
I do not believe that God will hold a mentally ill person responsible for things they do wrong as a result of their illness. Christs Atonement for sin kicks in and protects them. They really dont know what they are doing, it is a kind of innocence and I dont believe God will hold them accountable.
So they might actually be alot better off than those of us with full faculties and complete minds.

1 -"LET as many servants as ar eunder yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. 2 - And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved partakers of the benifit. These things teach and exhort. 3 - If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to Godliness. 4 - He is proud knowing nothing, but doting about quewstions and stifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and desitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness; from such withdraw thyself. 6 - But godliness with contenment is great gain. 7 - For we brough nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 - And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 1 Timothy 6: 1 - 8. KJV.
You see even God in His Word talks of this God Does Care Otherwise - It would Not be in the Bible! The Bible also talks of Healing. God Loves Everyone Without Question Even these people who suffer so.
There was a case in California that made my husband and I 'SICK'. A young man (23) who want extremly mentally ill was beatened - another person durring the beating filmed it with his cell-phone! It was shown on the 'NEWS' It WAS HORRIBLE and, EVERYONE in California were Screeming for these 2 'MONSTERS'. It took 2 weeks, first the 'Beater' was caught - then one week later - the cell-phone filmer was found! The 'Beater' got 50 years and the cell-phone filmer got 20 years! I was soooooooooooooo Grateful for that. This was a HORRIBLE crime that should have never happened!
I believe in treating ALL with honour and honesty! I NEVER want to discriminate against ANYONE!!!!!!!! This is wrong for someone to do that! Everyone alive IS the Will of God, Everyone (Without exception) Is Loved by God! The Lord wants to be in Everyones Heart! It's not God, or Jesus that put people in Hell - It is US - by what we decide when we are Alive!
In the Will of the Lord there IS also HEALING in the Name of Jesus!
Grace Be Unto You! Peace.
Take Care and God Bless!

God did not create people with mental illness or anything like that. That comes from having sin in our blood.

yes, for I am very sick. But I seek his face, and trust in him completely. I do not take medicine. The doctor's r puzzled, saying well I must of made a wrong diagnoses. The lord God has been with me every step of the way. When I'm about to lose my mind,. I feel these hands go threw my brain, and I am brought back. It's been because of this illness that I have grown so close to God. I am thank full for it, but of course I want it to leave also. Seek his face and ask for his help, he will show u the way.

Casey, God did not create people with mental illness He created the perfect Man and Woman in Adam and Eve,they fell from grace and the succeeding births have been from procreation, this procreation has carried great flaws and will continue to do so, the human genome pool is not that big and we will always have defective genes that render mental and physical defects common place.

God doesn't create people with illnesses. It is a conscequence of sin, whether in the family heritage, or environmental sins (imbalances) or own sin. It is just the sin nature that some gave in to. And the iniquities (sinful addictions) are passed on to the 3rd & 4th generations of those who hate God.
Yes there is a way out. Repent for not believing in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God. Recieve His gift, his shed blood for the remission of your sins. Confess Jesus Christ your Lord & Savior. Believe in your heart Jesus raised from the dead.
God sent His Word & healed us of all our diseases. All of them, including the mental ones. Yet God heals us from the inside out, so gets to the root of the problem. Just claim Gods Healing Promises out loud. Sing them. Praise God, etc... God loves us and heals us.

We cannot know all things as God does - but he never wills harm to anyone, it is not possible for him because of who he is.
The reason we have awful things, wars, hunger, poverty, mental illness - is because we chose to rebel against God, to sin, and we live in the consequences of sin - in a broken world. Again, the terrible things of this world are not God's desire or will.
He would not create things to harm them - his way is love, forgives, grace, mercy.
God can touch or heal according to his will, and often does.
