Most of mankind will live on earth...The meek shall inherit the earth.
Jesus only chose a few to rule over the earth with him in heaven, 144,000.
In the beginning God made the earth and placed man on it. That is the original purpose for the earth. To be filled with righteous humans.
He also made the heavens and placed spirit creatures there. That was the purpose for the heavens.
His intent is not to take all the people who have ever lived and choose the best ones to join him in heaven.
He says I formed the earth and placed the man on it. I looked and it was good.
God makes no mistakes.

Luke 17:20, 21 Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.”
I believe that we are meant to develop spiritually here and now through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Do this and stop being so concerned about an afterlife.
We are to care about people right now. Learn from the Holy Spirit right now. The work we are supposed to do in here and now.

There is only a few people that will live in heaven after they die. Most of us will live here on earth.
Psalms 37:29 "The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it."

Oh, the vanity...
You don't "know" your religion is true more than the followers of any other religion. It's only decades of extreme indoctrination that make it impossible for you to even think about this logically.
There is no evidence of any gods, or any heaven or hell. It's all fantasy.

well, quoting a book won't get you to heaven. But, God did make a way to Heaven. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for my sins and your sins. Sin separates us from God, and only pure blood can cover our sins. Only Jesus lived a pure, sinless life, so only He could be the sacrifice that God required. And Jesus showed that He was God by not staying dead, but by rising from the dead. No one else has raised themselves from the dead before, or after Him. God's way to heaven is simple: believe that Jesus died for you, that He rose from the dead, that He's God, and tell Him that you're sorry for your sins, and live for Him. That's the only way to get to Heaven.
