Here is a quiz that will give you a better idea of where you're at in terms of PTSD:

However, it would be best for you to meet with a therapist and discuss whatever is coming up for you. You can search for one that specializes in PTSD/Trauma. To find a therapist, click here:

If you have been in a highly stressful, perhaps life threatening situation, and are now having any or all of the following symptoms, including; insomnia, nightmares, loss of appetite, memory loss, anxiety, flashbacks, or depression...I would recommend making an appointment with a mental health professional. It cannot hurt to be evaluated.
Good Luck!

Try not to diagnose yourself. There are similarities in a variety of mental health diagnoses. In deciding on PTSD, you may overlook other important information that a doctor can help you with.
You could also focus on what your symptoms are how they affect your life. This is a good way to start the conversation with a mental health professional.

It takes strength to be certain,
It takes courage to have doubts.
It takes strength to fit in,
It takes courage to stand out.
It takes strength to share a friend's pain,
It takes courage to feel your own pain.
It takes strength to hide your own pain,
It takes courage to show it and deal with it.
It takes strength to stand guard,
It takes courage to let down your guard.
It takes strength to conquer,
It takes courage to surrender.
It takes strength to endure abuses,
It takes courage to stop them.
It takes strength to stand alone,
It takes courage to lean on a friend.
It takes strength to love,
It takes courage to be loved.
It takes strength to survive,
It takes courage to live.
