Green stool is usually the result of eating a lot of green veggies, food coloring/dye, iron supplements (or vitamins with extra iron) or a slow transit time of waste through the colon. Normally, it is nothing to worry about.

Once in a while no problem food dyes, chlorophyll, etc. If it constantly occurs then you need it to be checked. It could be gall bladder trouble of some liver problem that needs attention.
