so first Lets define the meaning of religion:
religion is something that requires faith to believe in something that you cannot, have not, and will not ever seen.
so being that no one has ever seen a monkey give birth to a human being, (yet people beileve it) and that every thing they believe, happend MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of years ago! who can prove that?? no body was there no one watched the "evolution prosses" take place all they have to realy on is there faith in believing that some thing that no one can prove happend, and no one has ever seen it happen, yet some how people believe it?!? sounds like a heavly hard core faith based religion to me. right?

If it is used as a belief system then it can be termed a religion and a false one at that! Scientists claim that the big bang just happened and no one created it! This does not make sense to me! God made this world and everything in it! Things do not evolve over time as God can create anything just the way He likes!

1) A monkey cannot give birth to a human because we are 2 DIFFERENT species. Similar in DNA but you cannot interbreed with 2 different species. We came from the early humanoids ie the Neanderthals.

2) You seriously have to make major revisions on your definition of religion and buy a better dictionary. Your definition cannot grasp the main ideals of religion and at the same time, as there are MANY religions in the world it is difficult to make an accurate pinpoint definition of religion.

3) Evolution is not a religion. Is it an institutionalised system of beliefs?

The proper definition of religion is this,Religion=the belief and worship of one or more God`s.
Now who or what is the God of evolution that these people believe in and worship?
They continually try to explain a mystery with another mystery and it falls flat everytime.
Talking of time, evolutionists have burst onto the scene in this century full of wierd and wonderful notions which begs the question, was the whole civilisation of humanity totally thick and stupid before the their hero Darwin came on the scene.

No.
Evolution is the change in life.
And religion is...well you know what that is.

Back in the day... one sub-teacher in Tenn. was in a biology class and he begun talking about Evolution Vs. Religion.

He went to jail and had to pay a fine of that.

He thought that what had happened to him was in justice, so we went to all these courts. Yet they kept concluding that he was guilty.

THEN he went to the Supreme Court. Where they ruled him innocent. (All of this is called, The Monkey Trial)

From then on, schools have been able to talk about Evolution and Religion.

as a Catholic and a future scientist i believe in both... evolution is proven on the basis of DNA, fossils, studying the earths geology and its changes, so even if no one saw it there are too many scientific evidence, its highly possible, a 99.9% that evolution occurred and is still happening to this day (a simple example that everyone can understand, people who cannot roll their tongues is due to the evolution of the species and losing abilities that are now useless)...... so yes evolution is a scientific fact,,,,,,,, now as a Catholic i admit that many things written in the bible are folk tales at people used before to explain things they did not understand, though many things in the bible can be historical others are just stories and many priest will tell you that.......... so yes i believe in evolution but i also believe it was god who put those initial molecules there in the first place..... being a scientist and a Catholic at the same time is not impossible....

The original idea of evolution was a hoax cooked up by Darwin himself. The original idea holds no water what so ever. But like any evil church, over the years the truth has been buried and the craftiness of men has been used to blind the dumb.

You're discussing fantasy- evolution is biology and your fantasies have no relevance to biology.

Edit- As regards the clown below who cites answers in genesis, that website is still promting the delusion that evolution contradicts the second law of thermodynamics even although the individual making the claim has been challenged and unable to defend his belief. They're scum.

The simple truth is, Evolution isn't a religion.
It's a fact.
Christians like to call it a religion because that satisfies their need to dumb everything down so they can understand it.

Evolution's an accepted fact, Christians dumb things down.
They're inconvenient truths, but it doesn't make them any less true.

Sorry, I really don't think I can make it any simpler for you than that, as Y!A R&S doesn't support the use of crayons and sock puppets.

In arithmetic axioms are merely assumed genuine for the point of seeing what effects from that assumption. there isn't any assumption made in accordance with observations of the genuine international. neither is there any assumption that those axioms are themselves genuine in any experience. arithmetic is rather in reality those necessary truths of the variety "If X then Y" the place X incorporates contraptions of axioms and Y incorporates necessary conclusions in accordance with those axioms. traditionally The church fought for years against non-euclidean geometry. lots so as that the creation of non-euclidean geometry became not on time because of the fact mathematicians (extremely Gauss ) feared for their saftey.

Wrong. Evolution means gradual change. Monkeys and humans descended from a common ancestor and evolution has been observed.
