Because the way to "win" a debate for someone that doesn't have the education to defend their opinion is to get rid of the opposition.
I don't agree with everyone on here, or everything that is said. But the only time I violate someone is if they use racial/ethnic slurs. Those people aren't looking for a debate. They simply want to piss off as many people as they can.

Every time a BNP supporter posts, reasonable people see the BNP for the racists and thugs that they are. I would like your postings to receive as wide an audience as possible.
Never forget the words of BNP leader, Nick Griffin:

mowhok1 - if you are trying to take a name based on the Red Indian tribe, or the haircut, it's spelled MOHAWK. I'm all for freedom of speech within obvious limits, and I think people should look at things I've said and your efforts at constructive debate and decide their own opinions.

They do it because they are afraid of the truth and they have no answer for it. so they report your question or answer. People simply believe the rhetoric they have been fed and most don't want to be confused with facts. There's a difference in race baiting Q&As. ALL posts that are race related and insulting to any color or race need to be reported,but dont report just because you disagree with the posters views on issues.
Yahoo doesnt even look at the posts they just send you a violation.

Some people can't see further than the end of their nose. If someone don't agree with them, then they are automatically wrong. It's a shame more people can't see or refuse to see other people's point of view. If they did, the world would be a far better place. I am the first to say sorry if I am proven wrong. It takes a real man (or woman) to say sorry.

People can only report you, they cannot violate your questions and Answers, although Yahoo staff are people, they only carry out a violation report and cancel questions and answers which are against the terms and conditions.

too bad there isn't a cure for ignorance but it is painful ,so is lack of education,unfortunately it is society's DENIAL , Why educate yourself when you don't think it will happen to you ,These are the same people that are teaching your children in school,the same people that throw garbage out of their cars the same people that are too lazy to reach down and pick up a piece of litter on the ground instead of walking over it .Lack of training at home is where it starts.
