If you renamed or modified the pictures on the memory card, many cameras will no longer display the pictures on the LCD screen. If you use a card reader the pictures should show.

Keep pictures in their original state while they are on the memory card.

Move the pictures from the card to the computer and start over with an empty card.

if you can see your pictures on your computer (be sure that you are indeed looking at the memory card thats on the camera).

how to fix it:
**go through my computer >meomry card NOT throug a sony programs

1. copy picutres to a folder on your computer
2. double check that the pics are there ( disconect your camera)
3. turn on your camera (not attatched to the computer)
4. go to the setup menue and find "format" - check your manual
5. turn the camera off
6. reconnect camera to computer and turn it on
7 navigate to the camera and find the file folder on the memory card (most often is named as an abreviation of the camera model)
8. drag and drop the pictures on computer to this file
9. disconect camera, test if it worked
