No. anxiety is nothing to do with ulcers. Anxiety is a psychological problem. When you are in anxiety, you forget to take food, or you may not feel hungry. Without sufficient food to digest, enzymes secreted in intestine causes over acidity, over acidity results in intestinal ulcers.

ANY medication can cause side effects. I have had friends that have been on low dose anxiety meds for years with no long term side effects. You can find negative affects to any situations. Give low dosages a try.

anziety if really bad an left untreated can cause alot of problems depression,stomach problems,eating disorders from making yourself sick, all sorts of different things. if you have really bad anziety my recommendation is go see a psychiatrist like i did they will talk you through the steps you can take there are medications to relax you and therepy that you can try all sorts of options. best of luck

I have anxiety and it causes a lot of stomach problems. I take a lot of pepcid to help me out.
