yeah actually im 17. not a parent. but my mom did find one day, alchohol in my closet. and has not found my weed or condoms. im a bad kid huh? well, i would suggest maybe taken a look in some places you havent looked in in a while. you may find some things. :(

I have not found any of the above in my teens room and dread the day I do find any of them, but if I do, we will have sit down and have a very serious talk about the matter.

Something I found that was much, much worse was what I think used to be a McDonald's hamburger at one point, under his bed and it stunk so bad I thought something had crawled under there and died.

Nope, haven't found these items and probably won't. My 13 yr old and tween twins are awesome about talking to me as we have really good communcation. Not something we came by easily either, but we work for it. (Although I anticipate as they get older that stuff will happen. As life happens to everyone.)

If I did find these things however, I would freak internally at first. Then calm myself down and figure out a plan.

The sex stuff, well....obviously a talk is needed, but I wouldn't make it high priority. The drugs, alcohol, and "hate" notes would definitely be high priority. And all the issues would have to be addressed. Would I freak out and yell at my kid and then never trust him/her again? No. But there would definitely be serious issues to work out.

Other horrible things to find? Weapons. Guns/knives etc.
Stolen stuff, or evidence that my teen was heading into a life of crime. Or a baby. Heard of stories where the teen has a kid and the parents don't even know about it. That would be just crazy.

Lord no i have not, but you no with society today i would not be suprised cause these kids these days are exspossed to so much now. We as parents have to really talk to our kids and guid them in the best way that we no how. Some of the things that you mention was not all that bad tipical things that you might find in some girl but mostly boys closet. Like the condoms and notes but the lub, weed and the porn well lord help that child cause its not even worth it , i mean kids want to see an do things i did to when i was young and somethings i did do, but now i wish i would have listen to some of thoes thing that i was told.You no some times even when you do them things when its all over you be like heck this is not even what i thought it would be
