Let's assume you are just going out for a coffee, a drink or dinner on your first date. See where the conversation goes. If you like him and think there's a possibility this is someone you want to continue to see, you could bring it up right away. Tell him exactly what your personal situation is. Maybe you'll find out something important about him in the process. The absolute worst thing you could do to yourself emotionally is get into a deep relationship with him and find out he is a cad when it comes to your personal issue. You want a caring man who will cope. Tell the guy and if he runs, you'll know you did the right thing.
Blessings.

i would think on a first date. don't just drop it on him, try to lead him into a topic that deals with that, and den drop it. if he goes running after that and never comes back, no lost for u - not worth your time to continue with the relationship anyway. if he does come back, he's seriously tot abt it, and it won't be aprob anymore. oh, and btw, i think he would "runaway" in some sense (ie. physically disappear, mentally "not-there", emotionally "switch off" etc) until he thinks thru. u haf to give him time. BUT, there will be some who seriously don't mind. it's not even an issue he needs to think abt. go for that someone.
hope it helps. Good luck!!

Somewhere between first date and first I Love you. If you really like the guy and you feel he's getting more serious and you want the relationship to grow than that would be the time to tell him.

I would not tell him until you have a secure stable relationship if at all, its not like you have an std that he needs to know about and your Alopecia does not affect him in any way.
After dating someone for a while you will know when to tell them, until then you should not worry, it is not like you are with holding out on something that would have an effect on your relationship.

do you wear a wig? are your eyebrows gone as well? if the relationship becomes exclusive (not dating anyone else), then you should tell him. i doubt it's going to be a big deal, unless he's a total dork. then you don't need him anyway.

not on the first date. get to know him and if you build a good and strong relationship with him, then you can tell him..... not until then. You do not have to put yourself through this unless he is honourable enough to share your disease with....
