I have no idea especially since today's pick-up is completely useless as a pick up truck . How can anybody buy a p/u without an 8' bed ?
It kind of defeats the whole purpose of a pick up doesn't it ?
To give up that much in handling and not be able to gain some utility in form of being able to carry a 4x8 sheet of plywood with the gate closed just doesn't make sense at all

Need for power and size I guess. I like small cars with big motors. Drive a pontiac GTO 6.0 liter 6 speed over 400 hp. Pull over truck I want past.

most people drive what they drive to show off their personality and show off the car. it is an extension of who they are. it is a body language expression to make themselves feel more powerful in an insecure world. Not everyone does it but I feel most people show off their cars and not just a tool of transport. They don't know how to express themselves in any other acceptable way especially men.

maybe because they use them to pull something or haul something. Even if they didnt it is a personal choice, its why we live in America frredom of choice. Go drive one yourself and you will understand.
