I dont believe in god but i think that the big bang is a continuous cycle of big bangs that have been going on forever. It bangs and expands and then contracts and then bangs again forever in my opinion. I dont believe that anything started it, its just been happening forever. What do you think?

It is just a theory. What gets me going is because it is an unknown, that people attribute it to a god! I call that a serious cognitive crutch!

As far as what I think about your supposition, it is a possibility. However, scientists are still having a hard time deciding if the universe expansion is slowing down enough for the "great collapse" which would lead to another big bang.

First tell us where all the MASS of the universe came from.

Next, what's on the other side of the universe.

Under MOST accepted views of the Big Bang the ENTIRE universe was the singularity. Some say the size of a Red Giant, others the size of a molecule.

That was it.

That was the ENTIRE size of the universe.

So where does SPACE come from.

How does the universe EXPAND

There is no certainty that fusion will always occur.

Sometimes it could be fission.

Sometimes it could be something else

There cannot be certainity in RANDOMNESS

Therefore the Big Bang can't necessarily occur over and over the same way without intellegent guidence

The creating of new universes would be different some of the times. We can't definitively say there will always be a Big Bang.

To do so is to NOT subscribe to RANDOMNESS

So, is everything fixed or does God play dice!

Everything has a beginning somewhere. Someone/something created it. Something like the saying which came first the Chicken or the Egg. Everything has to start with a beginning. The source that most choose to ignore that explains everything from beginning to end to some of us, is ignored by others. We know how it began, and we also know how it will end. Years and years of Historical background, comparing of one account in History with another's account solidifies the authenticity of what we believe. It kind of takes it from Fiction to Non-Fiction. There is no other account even remotely close that comes to the understanding of the Creation such as depicted in the Holy Bible. No other Word has even come close to an explanation. If people feel good thinking they came form a big bang, that's ok, I can guarantee you one thing, we are all going out in a big bang,,,does that help?

Not necessarily. I think that it was always here in some form. The osculating Universe is a very reasonable opinion. The big problem I have here is that the Universe is not only flying apart, the rate at which it flies apart is accelerating.

But M Theory is the new hot thing and it does include a cause that wouldn't necessitate that things contract. So I am going to say that I don't know.

You complete with,"basically my Opinion." yet you spoke such as you had all the information. that is one straightforward actuality that no individual who believes in evolution can run far off from. look at this Christopher grew to become into an explorer who basically rrealized the the earth grew to become into around. He could have been in his 40s on the time in the 365 days 1492. The bibl has been around for centries in the previous he grew to become into born and it says, ''Do YOU human beings not understand? Do YOU not hear? Has it not been advised to YOU from the outset? have you ever not utilized expertise from the guidelines of the earth?  there is individual who's residing above the circle of the earth,.." (Isaiah 40:21,22) Befor Christopher Columbus pronounced the international grew to become into around the bible pronounced that a hundred's of years till now. possibly if the queen study her bible she might have pronounced assorted money.besides that even God spoke approximately Alexander the excellent befor he got here to potential. there are a number of assets you would be taught in the previous you're making certainly one of those rashional determination to not have self belief on the only peerson that could replace this international. they are greater effective than basically mere memories they are the reality. there are a number of people who do replace Gods be conscious which in turn misleads many human beings however the reality continues to be available and people who smear the reality with lies would be destroyed.

I agree with you, albeit I do believe that a, or many highly advanced life forms other than ours may have taken part in our existence, and I don't rule out the possibility of a one true God, and given that the Chinese have traced their ancestry farther back than other cultures, it's possible that the "Big Bang" theory is the result of the biggest firework display that ever occurred via the first Chinese celebration for their invention of the chopsticks;) LOL

from what I understand, no one says there was nothing before the Big Bang, just that there's no way to measure whatever came before, as (1) the universe that has been expanding since then essentially wiped the slate clean, and (2) the laws of physics themselves may have been different enough that there's no way to even make an educated guess.

This matter has been already debated in astrophysics circles.

It has been suggested that the big bang was triggered by a quantum fluctuation on the vacuum.

The matter of the ''oscillating universe between contraction and expansion is beig discarded by the latest sudies and evidence.

It is possible that all this is ''once in a time''.

You should ask this in the science section.

The law of conservation of mass/energy. It cannot be created nor destroyed.

Think about nothing: it can't exist. So something was always here.

Other scientists have proposed the endless cycle of expansion and contraction. However, it's possible for matter to come from nothing since even in "nothing" we have energy. Google vacuum fluctuations. This is either the first, or one in an infinite string of contractions-expansions!

Perhaps the truth is beyond our comprehension. Humans THINK - they organize thoughts to achieve a logical conclusion, for any number of practical reasons, or even just as an exercise in thinking. We love logic - it gives us peace. We see sequences and seek their origin. The idea of a Prime Mover is very attractive to the human mind. We cannot conceive of infinity, or nothingness - it is beyond us. So perhaps our LOGIC causes us to err in applying it to everything - especially the origin of matter. It certainly seems futile, as it is clearly unknowable and we are "out of our element", to be punny. But we revel in our imagination, as we should - our imagination makes our sense of our mortality tolerable. I think it's wonderful that we seek God. In the whole loopy universe we may be the only thing doing this. I personally find it silly to imagine extraterrestrials - as if finding out "WE ARE NOT ALONE!" changes anything. Anyway, keep on exploring possibilities. Who knows, maybe Jesus will turn up and say "I-I-I-I-I-I'm BACK!!!!" That would be interesting!
