He and his girlfriend have been close friends for three years, and we've only known each other for about one year, and we aren't close. About two weeks ago I chanced upon his myspace profile and email and we chatted for a bit on messenger. A close friend of his told me that he likes me(his friend didn't know I liked him), about as much as he liked his girlfriend, but there were rumours that I was dating a guy, so he didn't want to try to ask me out, as he had his morals. He had only just gotten together with his girlfriend(about a week ago). Then a few days ago, we happened to be doing some community service together and he suddenly says that if he ever breaks up, he'll want me as his girlfriend. This was after he had asked me if the rumours were true. I really like this guy, as he barely knows me, but he's really sweet. He happened to hear that I was upset, and he knew that I liked stuffed toys, so he bought me a stuffed bear. We might've gone steady, but bad timed events, we're not.

Don't be "that" girl, don't become sloppy seconds for anyone. If this guy likes you and wants to go out with you, he needs to take care of unfinished business(his girlfriend) first. If he is the type to do something behind HER back, what would make you so sure he wouldn't do it to you?! Good luck.

Just leave this alone, when he gets tired of this girl, then if it is ment to be, he will be coming to you, if it is ment to be.
Do not pursue this anymore, all the gifts he is giving you is making your emotions go crazy and they are making you want to pursue this guy.
My advice, do not, let it go, when he gets tired with her, then if it is ment for him to come to you then he will.
You do not want to be the cause of breaking up their relationship, and tell him if he is not happy with her, then he should be honest with her before she finds out he is giving you presents, and you do not want a conflict there my friend.
My advice, stay out of it and let him handle her, and let him decide what and who he wants.
You do not want her coming after you calling you the "relationship wrecker"!!!!

Back off!! He has a girlfriend and evidently isn't looking to change. Besides, if he does this to her, he could do it to you!! Think about that. Sounds to me like he's playing you.
