This is somewhat of a good question if you didn't assume everyone hates each other. But you are right sometimes I get sick and tired of people hating on each other because of religion. But I don't think we will destroy this world in the name of religion, it will be more along the lines of $$$MONEY$$$

Because people don't have enough going on in their lives that they have to worry about everyone elses. We are destroying this world not only in the way of religion, but by the way of ourselves

As a whole I hate no one, I will not destroy the world the people in power will do that, then blame the population and make us rebuild and pay more taxes. religion will also blame us saying we didn't put god first, hell we can't win. But I refuse to be a sheep.

Not everyone but, if we were to generalize, the answer to the first question is pride - people think their beliefs are correct and everybody else is wrong. There is nothing wrong with that unless they try to force their beliefs on other people. The answer to the second question is yes - weapons capabilities today are extremely more destructive than weapons centuries ago.

I think people are misinterpreting their religion in this regard because I don't believe anyone's God (Gods) or Deity (Deities) would be telling their people to killl everybody else who have different beliefs... that's just my opinion.

If you propose a world without religion look at how that worked in the Soviet Union, China, North Korea, Cuba. I propose we end all religious governments but defidently keep religion alive

Good Evening: All

What I am about to write may not be of great ease to many but I am compelled to speak from my heart.
I am not here to take sides with anyone or feel that I have to agree towards anything that goes on…. But war itself runs rapid in the veins of many. When does the wars stop, when do we start to challenge our true selves to be within the divine grace.
I am not trying to preach or speak about people/communities/governments directly, but to the fact that as long as war been around, will it ever change? Wars in the world, people are dieing, families devastated. And then to add on to the pressures, wars within our own religions. Then we have to wonder about the recovery process. What is this?
I will never comprehend in my heart or soul to ever understand this insaneness.

Maybe it’s not for me to understand. I spoke with a friend earlier because of my emotions circling around in a fritz over the way people can hate. I thought as many years have gone by and learning through history that what ever has happen in the past should not return to the present, not to make the same mistakes again.

The loving people whom pray everyday not for themselves but for others is a powerful thing, what does it take for a person to just be at peace and share it and spread it. Hate spreads like an infection/disease. Why can’t Peace spread at the same pace? I remember growing up meeting people, whom devoted there everything to God, and they only look for the world in the heavens, yet why can’t we make our heaven here on earth.

I ask those who truly care for humanity, to take a second to just pray for the suffering… Pray for humanity just for one moment of your time, or day. Think about the peace you want and then think about the peace others wish to only have.

Just remember when our great President Reagan was asking Gorbachev to tear down the wall and today we are building one in our borders, at seems like we are going backwards instead of forward.

Satan get all the credit for the mess the world is in. He wants to kill us all.
God was ruling the earth...satan wanted the first pair to disobey.
Since then we have been on a roller coaster that has ended badly.
Get it right. Start today to smile and love your neighbors. Lets make this world a better place to live.
Ask God to teach you about His ways.

Religion is a great sorting tool.

It works exactly the opposite of the way it is intended to work.

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see anyone going around claiming territory in the name of their religion.

Yes, we are going to destroy ourselves. But not over religion. Over selfishness and stupidity!
