Brainwashing has that tendency.

GOD who says they call me with there mouth but in their hearts they are far away from me and he that searches the hearts of man knows the very depth's of the hearts. We can come to one conclusion here having God in you're mind does not make him real to you he becomes real to you when you allow him into your heart that is the place were he will speak to you than you will stop asking questions like this and be convinced.

No, He's not just in peoples' minds. He's in their heart, after they've made Him Lord of their lives. He's in their lives, when they daily read His word and allow it to make them into new creations. He's in their love, as they minister to others in His name. He's in their past, present and future, guiding and showing them the way He would have them go. How can I explain to you that knowing God isn't just something that you convince yourself into believing? It's God Himself that puts the faith into my heart. Without His faith, I could never muster up enough strength to believe in something I couldn't see. But, because He put His faith in me, He's given me spiritual eyes. While I don't always have an answer for everything, I know that God does, and I trust Him. Why? Because in my years of following Him, I've experienced things that showed me He really is Who He says He is. My friend, I too was a skeptic. I got angry at people who said they had this faith that I couldn't see or touch. I've learned that if you could see and feel it, it's not faith, and it's not God. His word says that no one has ever seen Him, yet His handiwork is evident everywhere you look. Anyway, that's all I gotta say. <*)))><

Everything is just in your mind.

None of this is what it seems to be.

This is more easily understandable if one considers the actual scale of the components of an atom. If one takes into account the fact that the neutrons, protons and electrons of an atom actually have huge spaces between them it becomes clear that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are made up of 99+ percent empty space.

This alone does not seem too important till you add the idea that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are more of a loose conglomeration that share a similar attraction but never really touch each other.

At first glance this does not really seem relevant, but closer analysis reveals that this adds a tremendous amount of empty space to solid objects that are already made up of atoms that are 99 percent space. When so-called solid objects are seen in this light it becomes apparent that they can in no way be the seemingly solid objects they appear to be.

We ourselves are not exceptions to this phenomenon.

These seemingly solid objects are more like ghostly images that we interpret as solid objects based on our perceptual conclusions.

From this we must conclude that Perception is some sort of a trick that helps us to take these ghostly images and turn them into a world we can associate and interact with. This clever device seems to be a creation of our intellect that enables us to interact with each other in what appears to be a three dimensional reality.

I hope that helps to answered your question.

When you take away the fleshly body that we are housed in, you are left with the soul, the seat of emotions, intellect and will.

So I would say yes, God speaks to us through our thought life.

It is not so hard to comprehend if you'd only believe.

No, God reveals Himself to those that seek and in a very real way. And once you surround yourself with Godly people you begin to see Him at work indisputedly.
