I don't know who worry me more; the people who have said being dishonest with someone is not as bad as loving them; or the people who say every sin is equally bad (stealing a 50p lip-stick is exactly the same as murdering another human being? Really? Are you sure about that?)
Either way, true love can never be wrong, never be a sin.
I am so glad I am not a Christian.

I think they would say that the person would be "in sin" no matter what these particular circumstances are.
Remember you are dealing with dogma. Everyone, no matter the person, or religion will eventually have a problem with the rules. You can't win with dogma.

From that perspective the dosage could be worse. You could be cheating on your spouse with the same gender person and a donkey.... for example....
It's like you have dirty hands or your hands are dirty... it really is the same thing isn't it? You must wash them and try to keep them clean... Parables. lol.
Well that's what I think. Is that religious?

All sin is bad to God that is why He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross to cleanse us from our sins! If it wasn't for this we wouldn't have eternal life!

Hello Kedar.. :)
No sin is worse than any other sin..gluttony, lying and gossiping is a sin..etc..
The only sin that cannot and will not be forgiven, is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost..in this world or the next.. :(
In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..in Christ.. :)

The religious think it's a sin to wear a cotton/polyester blend shirt. Come to think of it, blends are a bit obscene.
Anyway, who gives a ratz behindal zone what religious folk think.
In wondering, do they even think, or just rant interpretations of mangled theology, written by opium-induced zealots.
I pray for all men to be healthy and chisled !!

Sin is sin. It doesn't matter if you've shoplifted a two dollar tube of lipstick or spread a vicious lie about a co-worker, they all have equal weight.

This sort of question indicates to me that a gay person too may have a sensitive moral conscience- which I find quite interesting. This may lead many gay persons to the real truth somewhere down the track. There is always hope that one day you will find your authentic identity - whatever that may be.
To many including myself it is not our choice of lifestyle to act as gay but I think that you aught to be looked upon as human beings too and allowed the space to sort yourselves out - not unlike ourselves in the hetrosexual community.
Peace
