You don't find the guardian angel. If you are one of God's children, the angel will be assigned to you.

Did you know that angels were created in the state of holiness before the material creation (Job 38:4-7)?

It's really all about communicating with them - you can find out their names etc...just by being still & quiet & asking. They love being asked for help, asked for information, asked anything! This webpage has some good info on angels and how to get in touch with your own guardian angels:

If you aren't already aware there's not much I can tell you, except they have limitations by the nature of things and sometimes you are required to fall and break your arm for a reason.

Their job, however, is to keep you on track of the master plan as best they can with the limitations of how things are.

Your free will and physical presence can out manuver them.

We believe in them too, but they are not supposed to communicate with us since many would wrongly worship them. Worship strictly belongs to God, Jehovah.
I don't think that a verbal pat on the back would offend anyone though. Just knowing their around helps at times.

They are imaginary. So they are pretty much however you want to imagine them.
