I think it's really cute - even if I go into another section there's always at least one who'll follow and give me a downer...That's what I say anyway. On the inside I'm crying, someone clicking on an icon near my answer is just about the cruelest thing I can imagine...no I'm alright, something in my eye...*sniff*

Ooh and everyone else thanks too.

I just have to give due credit to my wonderful husband for coining the term "Thumbdie" - it just works, no?

cute post...i'll have to give you a STAR...i might, but i've never paid any attention to the 'thumb count' on any of my answers...i have had a few weird experiences where i've gotten violation notices for questions that i posted, long after the questions were resolved! it really bugged me, especially since there is no way to get an answer from the YA pharisees as to WHY...but, with intense therapy, i've been able to move on...

It's not me !!! I swear !!! Three exclamation marks mean you are telling the truth, yes ? It's the fourth one that brands you as a liar. I'm more of a... lazy stalker. I have followed your path, and others, on occasion 1- because you are in the same time zone; 2- you have a cool avatar and 3- it usually leads to juicy topics. I only give you thumbs down when you really, really deserve it. Really.
Why are you up, anyway ? It's late. It's always late. you're always up.

Um, mystery solved...? or a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma ? That's a triumvirate there.

I've had a few. There nothing like going to mathematics, solving an equation, showing your work, and having someone imply an error. That's unfair to the person seeking the answer.

The whole 'thumbdie' issue raises a disturbing point for me - and I mean this with no disrespect.
For those of you who are grieving the recent losses in VA, please, turn away.
Thank you.
What's the difference between an on line thumbie 'stalker and a tortured young man who stalks fellow students, really?
I hear a lot about 'mental illness is mental illness' on this site.
So what's the difference?
Stalkers are disturbed, thumbs or otherwise.

I've said my piece, no doubt I've upset someone.
Sorry.

It's just I think the 'harmlessly funny' practice of deliberately following Anyone around the board like that is a form of terror-ism. It is using terror, fear, as a means of manipulation.

The 'enemy' is not living in a cave in Afghanistan, the 'enemy' is sitting in front of a PC somewhere.

Thank you all for letting me rant, so incoherently.
(How many thumbs down do you think I'll get for speaking out?)

Join the Revolution. Anarchy rules. The community guidelines are only vague suggestions and violations are arbitrary. I give the thumb monkeys my own personal double middlefinger rating.

Alright I have to admit it, for once Deke made me laugh. Cheers Deke.

As to the asker, my hugs are with you, I rarely do the "thumbs down" thingy, but I like to give thumbs up. Here's a cookie and warm glass of milk to make you feel better. Hugs!

You know it's not me, I'm a starrer not a thumdie - unless it's UP.
Look at him as another fan - just an upside-down one!

And just to prove the veracity of my first statement *

Consider it a compliment. I do.

If the fundies don't like your question or answer than it must make too much sense for their simple minds to comprehend.
