God made me to know him, to love him, and to serve him in this world and to be happy with him forever in the next.
Cheers :-)

Most of the answers was that the purpose of the life is to live it .
But, how can the question be the answer? if the purpose of life is to live , so what is the purpose of living ( or in other word life !!) ?
This is a cycle with no answers.
I my self have no idea of why we damn humen are living, and where are we from? Where are we going to? And why we think like this and no other creature thinks like this?
I confess that by believing in God and divine religions we can have a calm and peacful life and with a strong porpuse behind our lives,
But, there is always a BUT for me at the end...

The purpose of life can not be summed up in one sentence. It cannot be a single explanation either. It is based on your opinion and outlook on life. I think that the purpose of life is to appreciate the world we live in, help out others, and to find yourself. You may figure this out very early in life, or for some people it may take a whole lifetime for a person to learn the purpose of life. Good luck with your search!

I found the purpose of life one night when I was 1/2 asleep. In the morning I'd forgotten it.
Until I remember it again, this is what I think the purpose of life is:
To live a life, trying to make the world a better place in everyway you reasonably can, and adding (positively) to other people's lives. Also, looking after yourself and doing things that help make you feel fulfilled, satisfied, and enriched. Learning, and being willing to learn and be taught.
Or, a more Christian purpose of life:
"Building God's Kingdom on Earth" (trying to make the world like how Jesus/God would want it to be).
[basically the same purpose as the first one except that it includes God and a belief in God].
That's me being diplomatic - both Christians, and non-Christians are included. Personally, I live with the God purpose.

The question is, What is the purpose of your life? And further more, is your life worth finding a purpose? Ask yourself.

This worldly life is a test run of the Eternal life of hereafter.
So our good or bad performance in this life, will result in good or bad reward, after evaluation by the Ultimate Lord, The All-Just, on the day judgement.

I really don't know. Once I thought it was about leaving a mark, but then I met some nomads, they live life in a natural environment, when they die they are buried in the ground with their precious possessions, no cross, no mark and the whole tribe moves on (in search of water) ......
