I am trying to find some modern wedding song ideas for my wedding. All the songs people recommend are quite old. My fiance and I dont like the old songs.
Can anyone recommend newly released songs?

Thanks :)

Someone else suggested Stickwitu by the Pussycat Dolls and it's not a bad idea. The other thing that I had thought of is possibly something by Michael Buble. He's got a new CD about to come out which would probably have something suitable but if it doesn't, I'm sure his first CD will. I just can't think of any of the song titles from the first CD at the moment.

I am getting married in 5 weeks and my fiance and I heard a song called 'every time we touch' by Cascada. It is released as a dance song but there is a slow version which we downloaded off the net described as the candle light version. It's a beautiful song and we plan to play it for the ceremony. All the best for the wedding :)

My fiancee & I are taking the same approach on music as well! CONGRATS by the way! We are looking into some Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey & Brian McKnight....some stuff like that. To be traditional isn't always what you need to do, be original.....there are a lot of sites on the internet that list up to date songs that can help you! Good Luck!!

If you are talking about your first dance
"Love you til the end" by The Pogues
"All I want is You" By U2
"Not Enough Time" By INXS
"Throw your Arms Around Me" By Hunters and Collectors(But the lyrics are about a 1 night stand, but very pretty)

Those are my 4 favorite slow songs

Do you like country? "I loved her first" is a touching song about a Father who reluctantly "gives his daughter away" to her new groom.
